Events 

GlamSci offers a number of different events, depending on the individual needs of the session and the students involved.
 
Specialised talks and lectures can be given to large groups of individuals or classes. These talks cover all topics such as, science, maths and technology in the greater field, what is needed to study these subjects further, and how to cope with college and UCAS applications.
 
Live demonstrations of science experiments can be performed to capture the interest of a group of students; they can be introduced to the language of science and technology, with a few interactive mental maths problems. In smaller groups, it will be possible to be more interactive with students, with students coming up to perform their own experiments and solving problems alongside scientists and mathematicians.
 
Workshops can also be held, where practical information is given to students individually, paper based information can be provided to the students, and any burning questions, can be answered by experts in their fields, or be researched by the expert and provided back at a later date.
 
One-on-one support and coaching can also be requested, depending on the schedule of the particular expert requested.
